Invitation to the 2nd Collaborative Workshop

Research and Teaching on Agroforestry and Land Use Systems of the Future

November 24, 2025 | University of Freiburg

The Universities of Hohenheim and Freiburg want to jointly research land use systems of the future with greater national and international visibility and cooperate in teaching. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed in July 2024 to this end. The strong research profile in forestry, environmental and agricultural sciences, respectively, creates unique synergies, for example in the field of agroforestry, agri-voltaics and others.

Aim of the 2nd collaborative workshop is to further develop a joint strategy and structure for future cooperation, particularly in the fields of research, teaching and infrastructure.
