Research Associate & Principal Investigator (CULEST)

Dr. Michael P. Schlaile is a research associate and principal investigator of the research project entitled “The Cultural Evolution of Sustainability Transitions” (CULEST), which is funded by the German Research Foundation. CULEST is hosted by the University of Hohenheim at the Department of Societal Transition and Agriculture and affiliated with the Department of Catholic Theology and Business Ethics. Michael’s research revolves around the three strongly interrelated research areas of “Complexity & Evolution”, “Innovation & Transformation”, and “Sustainability & Responsibility”. The CULEST project investigates sensemaking processes, worldviews, and narratives of change agents in the context of sustainability transitions.
