New publication on collective human and artificial intelligence in agriculture and rural areas - a transdisciplinary research programme
Digitalization and artificial intelligence are being discussed as great beacons of hope for agriculture and rural areas. However, in order to realise the potential, it is not enough to focus on more digital skills and counteract a digital divide. Rather, it is important to relate technical and human-related dimensions to each other and to better understand their interaction. A transdisciplinary research programme ‘Hybrid Intelligence’ should be dedicated to the conditions, possibilities and implications of the interlocking of collective human and artificial intelligence.
