Are you driving change? We want to hear from you.

The CULEST project at the University of Hohenheim is looking for change agents willing to share their experiences of social-ecological transformation. Please take part in our current SenseMaker® study on the experiences of change agents in times of crises. Take the survey here.

Background: Climate change, social upheaval, political polarization: those who actively work towards a more sustainable, just, or livable future navigate complex terrain every day. But how do the people driving change actually experience these processes themselves?

As part of the DFG-funded project CULEST ("The Cultural Evolution of Sustainability Transitions"), a research team at the University of Hohenheim led by Dr. Michael P. Schlaile is investigating which narratives of change and worldviews are reflected in the lived experiences of change agents in the context of social-ecological transformations. The findings help us better understand and design transformation processes in times of crises. We define change agents broadly: anyone engaged in work towards sustainability, regeneration, or a better future, whether in civil society initiatives, religious organizations, businesses, politics, or elsewhere.

We also offer organizations and networks of change agents the opportunity to systematically explore their own worldviews, narratives, and perspectives. We are happy to share the anonymized data, patterns, and insights we gather with the participating organizational partners. So, if you are interested in better understanding the dynamics within your own organization or community and gaining valuable insights to inform your own work, please feel free to contact us.

We warmly invite you to take 15-20 minutes to share your perspective. All responses will be analyzed anonymously.
