CULEST Research Seminar on Innovation and Transformation with Koen Frenken, January 26, 2026 in Aula, register by January 18 (limited spots!)  [25.11.25]

Innovation, transformation, and change are often said to be the only “constants” in the world – as already Heraclitus’ formula of “pata rhei” (everything flows) indicates. On January 26, 2026, we welcome Prof. Dr. Koen Frenken from Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development, Utrecht University, who will give a keynote presentation on “a new view on radical innovation” at the Aula of Schloss Hohenheim. The CULEST Research Seminar* on Innovation and Transformation is co-organized by Dr. Michael Schlaile (Department of Societal Transition and Agriculture) and Prof. Dr. Andreas Pyka as well as Dr. Matthias Müller (Department of Innovation Economics).   Participation is free of charge but limited to 30 participants. We also invite presentations of papers or work in progress that address the topics of innovation, transformation, and change from multiple perspectives (presentation slots are even more limited, so if you want to present your work, please register as a presenter as soon as possible). At the time of this call, PD Dr. Marco Sonnberger from the University of Stuttgart is already another confirmed speaker.
