Kirsten Gaber, M.Sc.

Kirsten Gaber is an external Doctoral Candidate in the Department of Societal Transition and Agriculture at the University of Hohenheim. She is employed as a scientific researcher at the Institute for Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis (ITAS) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Her academic degrees include a Master of Science degree from the University of Hohenheim in Organic Agriculture and Food Systems, a Master of Science degree from AGRAPOLE - ISARA LYON in Agroecology, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Geography from the University of British Columbia.
Her ongoing doctoral work focuses on the socio-economic impact of digitalization in fruit farming. During her professional experience as a research associate at the Institute for Energy and Environmental Research (ifeu Heidelberg) and ITAS, Kirsten has specialized in digitalization in agriculture, life cycle assessment for food systems and biofuels, systems modeling, and sustainability assessment.
