Mai Abbas
Doctoral Candidate (Extern)
Mai Abbas is a doctoral candidate at the Institute of Social Sciences in Agriculture, Department of Societal Transition and Agriculture, at the University of Hohenheim. She holds a master degree in environmental protection and agricultural food production (Envirofood) by the University of Hohenheim. In her master thesis she explored the Role of Alternative Food Networks in contributing to Food Sovereignty in West Bank Palestine. Her current research addresses agroecology, ethics of care and food related knowledge.
