Marius Jahnke is a Research Associate and Doctoral Candidate at the Institute of Social Sciences in Agriculture, Department of Societal Transition and Agriculture, at the University of Hohenheim. He holds an M.Sc. Degree in Agribusiness by the University of Hohenheim. In his Master Thesis he analyzed the effects of the European Farm to Fork Strategy on agricultural contractors in Germany using qualitative expert interviews in cooperation with the VDAW (Verband der Agrargewerblichen Wirtschaft).

His current research addresses the acceptance and implementation of cultivation systems without chemical-synthetic plant protection from the perspective of farmers. His research is part of the project “NOcsPS” (Agriculture 4.0 without Chemical-Synthetic Plant Protection) funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
