Doktorandin
Karlotta Koch ist Doktorandin am Institut für Sozialwissenschaften des Agrarbereichs, Fachgebiet für Gesellschaftliche Transformation und Landwirtschaft der Universität Hohenheim. Sie hat einen M.Sc. Abschluss in Environmental Protection and Agricultural Food Production der Universität Hohenheim. In ihrer Masterthesis analysierte sie die Verbraucher*innen-Akzeptanz für verarbeitete Bio-Lebensmittel auf Basis einer quantitativen Verbraucher*innen-Befragung am FiBL (Schweiz) innerhalb des ProOrg-Projekts, gefördert durch den Core Organic Cofund.
In ihrer Promotion erforscht und evaluiert sie die Anwendbarkeit und Verbraucher*innen-Akzeptanz für ein entwicklungsorientiertes Zertifizierungsverfahren im ökologischen Landbau, das vom Demeter e.V. in Deutschland von 2018 bis 2024 erprobt wird. Ihre Forschung ist Teil des Projekts „Zerti4.0“, gefördert durch das Bundesministerium für Ernährung und Landwirtschaft aufgrund eines Beschlusses des Deutschen Bundestages im Rahmen des Bundesprogramms Ökologischer Landbau und andere Formen nachhaltiger Landwirtschaft.
